What everything does

Tap a pink dot on the photo to see what that piece of kit is for.

01 / 08

Detail brushes

Soft brushes for the fiddly bits.

Badges, grilles, vents and wheel nuts get a brush, reaching dirt a wash mitt can’t.

02 / 08

Car-maker approved products

Most chemicals carry European manufacturer approvals.

Trim, carbon fibre, matte plastics and touchscreens only get products certified not to stain or damage them.

03 / 08

Wheel brushes

Long brushes for between the spokes and inside the barrels.

Only non-acidic, pH-neutral wheel cleaners are used, so wheels come clean without staining or etching.

04 / 08

Pure water tank

A 250-litre tank of deionised water.

No minerals means no water spots, so paint and glass dry crisp and streak-free.

05 / 08

Vacuum

Air first, then a deep vacuum.

Every crevice is blown out with air before the deep vacuum, and mats are drill-brushed and steamed.

06 / 08

Hose reel and washer

A high-flow washer chosen for prestige cars.

Volume, not pressure: it lays down foam and rinses rather than blasting, which can lift decals or push water into electrics.

07 / 08

Generator

A 5,000-watt inverter generator.

Its own power, so the work can happen wherever there’s room to park beside the car.

08 / 08

Foam cannon

Thick foam before anything touches the paint.

The foam lifts most of the dirt first. No harsh acids, no clay, no blasting.

Inside the van

Everything has its place

Every bottle, brush and hose has a rack, a strap or a hook, so the van arrives ready to work.

01

Its own power

A 5,000-watt inverter generator.

Wherever there’s room to park beside the car with safe space around it, the work can happen. You can stay at work or indoors the whole time. For long polishing days, plugging into your mains is preferred, as it’s quieter for you and your neighbours.

Through the side door: the white water tank, pump sprayers and a foam lance.

02

Pure, spot-free water

A 250-litre tank of deionised water.

Tap water is full of calcium and magnesium that dry into white spots. Deionised water has none, so paint and glass dry crisp and streak-free, and the wash is slicker and safer.

Racked detailing products above a blue hose reel and a pressure washer.

03

Volume, not pressure

A high-flow washer chosen for prestige cars.

Instead of blasting at very high pressure, which can lift decals or push water into electrics, it lays down thick foam that carries most of the grime off before the paint is touched.

04

Car-maker approved products

Most chemicals carry European manufacturer approvals.

Anodised trim, carbon fibre, matte plastics and touchscreens are only treated with products certified not to stain or damage them. Ceramic coatings stay clean and keep working.

05

Measured, not guessed

Digital paint-depth gauges.

Before any polishing, the clear coat is measured so there’s always a safe amount left. If it’s too thin, polishing doesn’t go ahead.
