Booking terms

The small print, made readable

Paying a deposit, or asking for work to start, means you accept these terms. If anything’s unclear, just ask.

  1. Safety over perfection

The priority is protecting your car’s surfaces. Where chasing perfection would risk permanent damage, the aim is a big improvement instead.

  2. Deposit, payment and prices

    • A £50 deposit secures your booking. It is non-refundable and comes off your final bill.
    • You pay the balance when the job is finished.
    • Listed prices are fixed and not open to negotiation. The final price is confirmed after an inspection on arrival.
    • Congestion Charge and other zone fees are added to the invoice where they apply.
  3. Paint depth checks

    • Paint depth is measured with a digital gauge after the decontamination wash. If the paint is too thin to polish safely, machine polishing won’t go ahead.
    • If that happens, you choose one of two options: a 5-month ceramic sealant protection package (£165 in total), or the wash and assessment only (£95 in total).
  4. Wheels

Only non-acidic, pH-neutral wheel cleaners are used. Heavily baked-on contamination that won’t come off safely is left rather than risk staining or etching.

  5. PPF, wraps and graphics

    • The quality of someone else’s film installation can’t be checked, so no liability is accepted for lifting, peeling, tearing, bubbling or edge failure.
    • Existing chips, tears or lifting edges can get worse during a normal wash. Damaged areas may be skipped on the pressure rinse.
  6. Engine bays

Cleaned by hand with low-moisture methods, never pressure-blasted. No liability is accepted for electrical, sensor or corrosion faults caused by moisture getting into ageing seals, aftermarket wiring or exposed connections.

  7. Belongings, rubbish and child seats

    • Please remove personal items, valuables and rubbish before arrival.
    • A heavily cluttered car may have a £30 rubbish-removal fee added. No responsibility is taken for items left in a cluttered car.
    • Child seats are not removed or refitted. The area underneath is cleaned around as well as possible.
  8. Pet hair and delicate interiors

    • Heavily embedded pet hair adds a £30–£60 surcharge, and you’ll be told before interior work starts.
    • Agitation stops if carrying on would tear old carpet, lift glue backing or strip dye from dry, sun-damaged leather.
  9. Space and parking

    • At least 1.5 m of safe, legal space all round the car.
    • A legal space for the van within 5–10 m of the car.
    • Any permit, visitor voucher or parking payment arranged before arrival. Fines caused by missing permissions are added to the invoice.
    • If the job can’t go ahead on the day because of these, the deposit is kept.
  10. Unexpected conditions

If hidden problems turn up, like mould, biohazards or severe oxidation, work pauses and you get an updated price. If you’d rather not go ahead, the job ends there and the £95 wash and assessment fee, or a fee for the work done so far, applies.

  11. Cancelling or moving a booking

    • Please give at least 48 hours’ notice.
    • Under 48 hours, the deposit is lost and can’t be moved to a new date.
    • Same-day cancellations, or no access to the car within 30 minutes of the arrival time: the deposit is lost and up to 50% of the remaining balance may be charged.
    • Bad weather: the booking is moved at no cost and the deposit carries over.
  12. Existing damage

No liability for deep defects, thin clear coat, worn fabric or contamination that was already there and can’t be removed safely.

  13. Agreeing to these terms

Paying a deposit, or asking for work to start, means you accept these terms.
